Atmosphere, history, fun and fine cuisine... all this is Percorsi ("Routes"), the event that sees the historical center of Civitavecchia as absolute protagonist of this weekend with several events related to music, food and wine, crafts and especially of the rediscovery of the historical value of the city.

The event, in its second edition will be held from September 24 to 27 along the streets of the historic center: Cittadella della MusicaChurch of San Giovanni di DioPiazza CalamattaPiazza SaffiPiazza Leandra and Via Trieste will be the location of the events in the program.

For the event, Via Manzi and Piazza Saffi will be illuminated by hundreds of candles in a magical and evocative atmosphere. But let's take a look at the full program!

SALA MOLINARI - 5.30 pm: "Hidden Civitavecchia", a conference by Doctor Roberta Galletta.

SALA MORRICONE - 9 pm: "Song of Civitavecchia" with the participatin of Alessandro Diottasi, Mary Diottasi and Mauro De Socio accompanied at the guitar by Maestro Tullio Venturini, organised by Comunità Mondo Nuovo.

FRIDAY 25

SALA MORRICONE - 9 am - 12 am: "Workshop about the fish of our sea" organised by the teachers of the F.I.C. and the Liceo Scientifico Galileo.

SALA MOLINARI - 5.30 pm: History of the complex of Civitavecchia's Old Hospitals and of the presence of the Knights of Malta - conference organised by Doctor Roberta Galletta.

SALA MORRICONE - 9 pm: End of Summer Concert by lyric and pop music students organised by "Associazione Musicale l'Arte del Canto" repertoire of popular, Napoletan and pop music.

SATURDAY 26

SALA MOLINARI - 4 pm - 6.30 pm: "Bottega delle Ombre" - Educational Workshop for children organised by  "Associazione Teatro di Carta" by Marco Vergati.

SALA MORRICONE - 9 pm: Concerto of Whitest by Lorena Scaccia. When the music makes us think of important current affairs, sung by young singers of the band scuoladicanto.it

LIBRARY OF LA CITTADELLA 10 - 12.30 am - 4.30 - 7.30 pm: Music Routes by Le Chat Blue Produzioni.

SALA MOLINARI - 5 pm: "Paolo Villaggio Fantozzi Forever" - Presentation by author Francesco Schietroma of the comic book about Fantozzi - Music intervention by Marina Muscolino.

SALA MORRICONE - 9 pm: Flash Mob by Banda Amilcare Ponchielli and afterwards concert.

  • Tasting of sweets in Piazza Leandra by Cook Italian Federation - Delegation of Civitavecchia.
  • Streetfood and music in Piazza Saffi organised by Il Borgo dell'Archetto.
  • Typical menu with fixed price of €12 organised by restaurants in Via Manzi.
  • "Workshop about the fish of our sea" by teachers of F.I.C. and Liceo Scientifico Galileo.
  • White night in Corso Marconi from September 24 to 25.

Also remember that during the four days of the event the shops in Corso Marconi will remain open until 24:00 while at Piazza Saffi restaurateurs of the historical center will present one streetfood offering dishes of local seafood.

There will be an exhibition of bonsai on 26 and 27 while Piazza Calamatta will host stands of local handicrafts, the traveling exhibition on ancient roman fleet ships Navalia. Via Trieste, on the other hand, will see Coldiretti with its stand and in particular with the roads of wine, the local tourist office, and stands by artists and craftsmen and much, much more.

Finally we would like to remind you that the Good catch will be the protagonist together with the boys of the Istituto Alberghiero throughout the event to delight even the most demanding palates!
