FROM THE PORT OF CIVITAVECCHIA TO ROMA OSTIENSE BY TRAIN

Travel time, 50/55 minutes
From the Port, go to Civitavecchia Train Station and take a regional train bound for Roma Termini and get off at stop Roma Ostiense. Regional trains run approximately every 30 minutes.

You may also buy the Civitavecchia Express for €10 one way or €15 return ticket, but public transportation in Rome is not included.

FROM THE PORT OF CIVITAVECCHIA TO ROMA OSTIENSE BY CAR

Distance from the port, 83 km
Travel time, 1 hour and 10 minutes

From the Port of Civitavecchia drive along the highway and after the toll booth of Maccarese-Fregene, continue towards Rome. Continue always straight until you turn right in Via del Cappellaccio and then turn left in Via Ostiense. Follow directions to reach the station.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Roma Ostiense Station you can reach many points of interest in Rome, like the close Pyramid of Cestius, The Protestant cemetery Inglese and Circus Maximus to mention some. In addition, thanks to the many connections you can reach many destinations, especially by metro B line, from stop Piramide. If you need to use metro B line and you are getting to Rome by train, we recommend you to take it from Piramide instead of Roma Termini: you will save a good deal of time!
