"The continuous growth of the volume of Ro/Ro traffic that, as stated by the Grimaldi Group, has recorded an increase of over 10% in the first four months of this year, has translated into the shipowner increasing their naval units". "In fact, - emphasizes Di Majo - in March 2019, the first of the two vessels subject to strengthen/elongation will enter into operation. These vessels, thanks to the use of electrical energy, may reduce totally the emissions in the area during parking on quay; moreover - concludes the President of the AdSP - being equipped with scrubbers, emissions will be reduced even during navigation".
