Postcards from Civitavecchia is 10 years old!
A great achievement for our initiative... but even the most beautiful things have a beginning and an end, so we have to announce that this will be the last edition of our contest!
To comfort ourselves, however, we have decided to celebrate it with a unique edition, with lots of novelties and surprises!
We will be revealing the novelties little by little, but for now we want to thank the many followers and friends who have accompanied us during these long ten years.
The first novelty is quite easy to guess. Of course, we are referring to the new theme of the contest.

THE THEME OF THE CONTEST
The theme of the 10^ edition of Postcards from Civitavecchia is: “Light and Shadow”.

Light and shadow are the essential elements that allow us to perceive our surroundings and are fundamental to our own vision.
Light is necessarily the central element of photography, but it is even more so in its delicate relationship with its opposite; a game of empty and full, of more and less. Shadows sculpt it and give it its limits; they can hide elements or force us to look away.
So, we invite all participants to use light and shadow with photographic creativity to represent the many beauties of Civitavecchia, no matter if they are more or less hidden.
The challenge is open. Postcards from Civitavecchia 2025 is waiting for you!

How to participate?
The contest will start on September 26th and will end on November 17th 2024. To participate you have to send us one or more photo via email to the redazioneweb@portmobility.it or through Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #cartolinedacivitavecchia.
Only 12 pictures will be selected for the new calendar 2025, but all of them will be published on this webpage and on our social networks.

Prizes
As in the previous edition, each of the 12 photographers selected will also receive 3 free copies of the calendar (both in its wall version and table version).
As we already mentioned before, more surprises are on the way......
In fact, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the contest, the winners will also receive as a gift a wonderful photobook with all the photos selected in the previous calendars, from the first edition of 2016 to the tenth and last one!
