Civitavecchia: Portunus, memorandum of understanding between the Port and the Agri-food Center of Rome
Wednesday 30th May 2018, at the Conference Room of the Port of Civitavecchia Francesco Maria di Majo and Valter Giammaria will explain and sign the memorandum of understanding called “Portunus - Ports and Markets of Rome together in the Mediterranean"
A handful of people know that Portunus was the God of Ports for the ancient Romans, represented with the keys as he was the protector and defender of all doors. From tomorrow (Wednesday 30th May 2018) “Portunus - Ports and Markets of Rome together in the Mediterranean" will also be the Memorandum of Understanding that will be signed at the Conference Room of the Port System Authority of the Center - North Thyrrenean Sea by President of the AdSP Francesco Maria di Majo and President of the Agri-food Center of Rome (CAR Scpa) Valter Giammaria. The event will be coordinated by Fabio Massimo Pallottini, General Director of the CAR S.c.p.A.
This is "a historic memorandum of understanding that shows promising new oportunities for infrastructure development and international establishment of the Port and Markets of Rome. On Wednesday the Port System Authority of the Center - North Thyrrenean Sea and the Agri-food Center of Rome will present and explain the Memorandum of Understanding by showing planned joint activities aimed to create a great integrated platform of advanced services to export the products Made in Italy and to internationalize the products of the Lazio Region".
