It's called the Harmony of The Seas and it's the world's biggest cruise ship!

From next July 7, 2016, and during the summer season, it will sail the Mediterranean departing from the Port of Civitavecchia.

To announce this giant of the sea, even bigger than the Eiffel Tower, the Royal Caribbean has introduced amazing new features regarding its twin brothers Allure and Oasis of The Seas, like a bionic-bar and a 45 meter-long slide! But let's discover bit by bit everything that awaits on board.

The Harmony of The Seas, in addition to boasting the title of the world's biggest cruise, it can be considered to all intents and purposes an authentic toyland!

To build it, Royal Caribbean has spared no expenses. It has cost over 1 billion dollars, the ship has attractions never seen before:

7 areas on board; 3 multi-level slides with bends and loops that take your breath away, plus the Ultimate Abyss, the highest slide existing on a cruise ship, 45 m high over the sea level; over 25 choices among restaurants and bars, like the Wonderland and other Quantum-class restaurants; 150 tones of water distributed in about 23 swimming pools, the biggest Spa on board a cruise ship.

2 FlowRider surf simulators, 11,252 artworks along the ship, the Central Park, a real park in the middle of the ship with well 10,587 plants; a Theater with 1,380 accomodations an an enertaining program that takes aback, with musicals like Greese and Columbus straight from Broadway, the Bionic Bar, first bar served entirely by surprising barman-robots, 37 different accomodation categories, between suites and rooms, and guaranteed entertainment for children and young boys and girls with the Adventure Ocean program.

Wow! What else could we add?

Well, for example, the fact that if you are accomodated in an interior room, and you don't have a balcony or sea view, you'l have an innovative virtual balcony; a high definition screen from the roof to the floor that shows in real time views of the sea and the destinations.

At this point, the question comes inevitably: but what about the price to go on a cruise on board this pearl of the seas? The price is certainly not unexpensive, but we must bear in mind the many potentialities and service that the ship has to offer.

Prices per person go from €1,029 in an interior room€1,216 in a balcony room and €1,300 in an ocean view room.

Then there are the Suite rooms, but those are a different story...
