Today, 28th March 2019 the Mayor of Civitavecchia Antonio Cozzolino has publicly announced that the first phase of the Services Conference with the aim of the "Procedure related to the request of concession of state-owned sea properties and expanses of water constituting the historic basin of the port of Civitavecchia" concluded with the victory of Rome Marina Yachting S.r.l., a joint venture between Port Mobility S.p.A and the Ports of Monaco, represented by the Société Monégasque Internationale Portuaire.

The project, aimed at making a tourist landing place inside the historic port of Civitavecchia, destined to house also super yacht was, compared to the other four competitors, the project that better meets both public interest aimed at tourism and economic conditions of the region, protection of the landscape and of the environment and safety of navigation.

Now opens the second phase of the process that will end with the approval of the final project that RMY, in agreement with the services conference, should develop in the coming months.

The minutes of the meetings of the Services Conference held up until now will be available on the website of the municipality of Civitavecchia from the 1st April.
