The aircraft carrier Giuseppe Garibaldi, which had come to visit us in 2019, returns today to the port of Civitavecchia where it will remain until Sunday, June 4, 2023.

And the best news is that the Garibaldi will also be open to visitors!

The aircraft carrier has been deployed in major international missions involving the Navy over the past 40 years (the unit will celebrate its 40th since its launch this very Sunday) and since 2014, together with the other units of the Third Naval Division, has been operating in support of the national Amphibious Force in conjuction with the San Marco Marine Brigade.

The Garibaldi battle cruiser, which has a 180-meter flight deck, embarked helicopters, and great versatility, will be docked at the Banchina Cialdi (Dock 8), and will be open for visits on board.
