Vintage cars and motorbikes gathering at the Historic Port of Civitavecchia

On Sunday 29th October 2017, the Historic Port of Civitavecchia will held a vintage cars and motorbikes gathering of the Raid Viterbo Civitavecchia after which there will be a tourist and cultural visit organized by Auto Moto Club of Viterbo.

The initiative, proposed by the Club president Salvatore Fratejacci and his collaborators Giulio Barba and Domenico Palazzetti, is Sponsored by the City of Civitavecchia and the Port Authority System of the Center-North Thyrrenian Sea (AdSP).

Positively approved by Mayor Antonio Cozzolino, Tourism City Councillor Enzo d'Antò and President of AdSP Francesco Maria di Majo, the event will be fit within the calendar of the series of events organised to celebrate the 1900 years of the death of emperor Traian, founder of the port and the city of Civitavecchia and that is why the gathering has the sponsorship of both institutions.

From 10 am, more than 40 cars will park inside the Historic Port of Civitavecchia, right in front of the Vanvitelli Fountain and they will stay there for the rest of the day.

During the morning all participants will be able to visit the Exhibition “Traian Optimus Princeps - The ports of the Emperor”, in the Ancient Rock, and in the afternoon they will be able to admire the beauties of the National Archeological Museum of Civitavecchia and the Centro Storico, accompanied by local writer and historian Roberta Galletta.

We remind you that the Exhibition about Emperor Trajan was  ricordiamo che la Mostra dedicata all'Imperatore Traiano era stata extended until the 29th October, so it is the last chance to visit it!
